- How has your research influenced the planning and creation of your promotional materials including your UCAS Personal Statement?
My planning and research has massively influenced the creation of my UCAS Personal Statement because i was not sure on how to structure it at the beginning but after researching on different techniques and listening to talks from people that review the statements i came up with a base structure. I then used a website to aid with the structure and to check all spellings, Character counts and punctuation so that it was the best quality it could be. The entire process of my creating my UCAS application can be seen Here.
- Reflect on your learning and skills – What you have done and why you have done it?
For my portfolio i have used the website provider Wix ( Wix.com) I have used this provider over other providers because i think this this was the best choice for my chosen profession (Programming) because it allows me to easily link my accounts to show off my games and some of my 3D models. the process that i took to create my portfolio can be seen Here in my task 3.2 planning & Creation. I researched multiple different portfolio providers and have looked at some of the portfolios that have been made on these sites before i chose what i was going to use this can be seen Here In my task 3.2 Research.

- Sum up your ongoing evaluations/opinions/reflections that you documented during the project.
At the beginning of the unit in was tasked with creating an application for UCAS I have also blogged the entire process of me planning and then creating the website that i am using for my portfolio this can all be seen here in my planning and creation tasks for my unit 12 Here. I also logged what i want to add to my portfolio and what i am planning to add to my portfolio in the future.
- What Promotional work do you feel has worked well and what did not work well? What could you do to improve your work?
I believe that my most recent work has been some of the most successful. For example the Axe that I modeled to add to my portfolio as it is one of the models that i worked on without much help from others as i wanted to see what i could achieve without help and i think that it went fairly okay. One of the pieces of work that i do not fell went well is my unit 12 Cyberpunk game as i believe that i left it unfinished and not fully functional due to the blueprints that i used made the car hard to control and is too slow.
- Reflect on peer and tutor feedback.
Here is my first Tutor Unit 11 Feedback sheet. At the top of the sheet it give me the information on what is being reviewed and who is reviewing it. Below i have been given a rundown on what i in the unit and what I have been graded for each section. Here i can see that i have been give a satisfactory pass for my tasks 1.1 – 2.1 but i have also been referred for task 2.2 & 3.1. After each grade i have been given a brief understanding on what i did right or wrong.

Here is the comment section of the review. Here i can see in greater detail what i have done well and what i could do to improve each section of the unit. In task 1 i have been told that i have shown a satisfactory understanding of my skills. I have also been told on a way i could get a better mark here and the main way for this is to submit my work on time in the future and not to miss the interim.

- What have you learnt during this project?
I have learnt a great deal more about the University’s that i am interested in and what i need to be able to enroll into said university’s, all of the research that i have on the different university that i want to enroll in can be seen Here in my university research. I have also been taught how to effectively write a UCAS personal statement. Another thing i have learnt from my research is some of the requirements that i am expected to have before i am able to apply to the jobs that i want in the Games development industry.
