Here is a mind map of different aspects of Level design. IT includes different methods of creating level prototypes like blockouts and floor plans. It also includes different aspects of the level that you have to consider before creating the level like where you want the level to be set and what kinds of assets you would like to be in the map for the player to look at or interact with

1.1) Level Design moodboards

Here is a mood board I created of different design of blockouts that you can create to help map out what a map or level could look like when you produce the final product. This mood board both consists of small scale blockouts with a few buildings or obstacles and large scale blockouts of entire towns and cities mapped out for much larger games than what i am going to be creating.

Here is a moodboard of different designs or floor plans. Creating a floor plan of a level could be useful because it would give you an idea of what sort of thing that you want in your level and where you would like to have them. you could also use a floor plan to help you create a blockout in the future as you would know where you want the buildings, spawn points, enemies, etc to be in the map.

Here is a tutorial of an tutorial on how to create a simple level for the game call of duty I have used this to help find out what makes a good action level and what kind of objectives that I could add to a level if i was ever to create a call of duty styled games for any of my future projects. it includes ideas on where to put spawn points, Pickups, Doors, Choke points, Objective points, and other essentials .

1.1) How are the level design designs going to help?

Floor plans – Floor plans will help to plan out where different objects and assets are going to be placed in the map this allows the designer to be able to scales each asset for where it is going to be in the scene it will also help them to be able to create a to scale blackout of the map as they will know where to put everything and to make sure they do not forget anything.

Blockouts – Blockouts will be helpful when designing the final game as the designer will know exactly where they want everything and how the final product will look  so that they can focus on the other aspects of creating the game without worrying where everything is going to be.

Tutorials – The tutorials will be helpful for people that do not know how to effectively layout their levels or what to include in their levels to make the level fun and enjoyable for the players
