I will need 104 UCAS points at A-Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification.

What Skills are they going to teach? – Subjects.

This course will teach me about the commerce, theory and design of digital games, It will also teach me how to work efficiently in a group to create a game an expert mentor  will assist with doing this. I will also learn to program in C# and work with animators, artists, designers, sonic artists and writers to make completed games.

When are their open days?

I was unable to find any evidence of any open days for the course so i am unable to answer this question.

Do you have the GCSE’s to get onto the course?

I was unable to find any evidence of needing any GSCE’s to be able to apply for the course so i am unable to answer this question.

How is the University course offering the skills you need for your chosen career?

This university will offer me the skills to be able to work better in a team of games developers to create good quality games together, This course will also further my skills working with the programming language C# to create games.

Is there anything specific you like or dislike about the course or University?

I like that this course puts you with other games developers like how it would be if you were to go and get a job in the games industry, This will help me adjust when I begin to work.

Do you have the GCSE’s to get onto the course?

I have the required Mathematics GCSE grade however I do not have the required English GCSE at the moment or the preferred ICT qualification.

How is the University course offering the skills you need for your chosen career?

This course would offer me a broader knowledge of the games industry, including 3D Media, Animation, Level design, and business skills that i do not already have that could be useful in the future of my career.

Is there anything specific you like or dislike about the course or University?

I do not like how much is compiled into this course as I feel as though I will not need the majority of the skills that this course offers as i would like to become a games programmer and not a 3D modeler, Artist or business owner in the future.

Although i do like that it is local.

Pearson BTEC – Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DMM

What Skills are they going to teach? – Subjects.

I will learn more of the C++ and C# programming languages, I will also use professional game engines such as Unity and Unreal and develop games for platforms such as PC, mobile, tablet And PlayStation 4. I will also have the opportunity to participate in Game Jams and work with other games development students.

No GCSE’s are listed as being required for applying to the course so i am unable to answer this question .

How is the University course offering the skills you need for your chosen career?

This course will help me develop my C# programming skills for games and will help me with working in a team of other game developers while creating games like what I would be doing in industry.

Is there anything specific you like or dislike about the course or University?

I like that I will be working ion games for the PS4 and PC.
